The award for students dedicated to a great design, rodolfo Bonetto
Among the events of the second edition of Milan Fall Design Week, on 12 October at the Spazio Eventi US49 in via Ettore Ponti 49 in Milan, the award ceremony of the “Targa Rodolfo Bonetto” (www.targabonetto.it) took place, a competition for students of the Universities and design schools, now in its 22nd edition and dedicated to a master of Italian design of the 70-80s.
Created under the patronage of ADI Industrial Design Association, ADI Compasso d’Oro Collection, City of Milan and with the support of Lumina Italia and Loghilton, Targa Bonetto is an award for those who are still studying to learn a fascinating job where creativity, ingenuity, the ability to dream meet the needs of society and the laws of the market.
This year Targa Bonetto rewards the winner with a symbol of freedom to move, and therefore to know and understand the reality that surrounds us: a Vespa Piaggio customized by Garage Italia Customs, the customization company headed by Lapo Elkann.
In the second place, a Mitaca capsule coffee machine with a coffee supply for one year; third prize, a small Candy appliance. This year the Scientific Committee of the event also awards a Special Critics Award: a trip to Basel with a private jet to visit in Weil am Rhein a “temple” of modern design: the Vitra Design Museum.
